When Chloe and I got home from our Wisconsin trip a few weeks ago, a package was waiting for us. Jibbitz for Chloe's genero-crocs! My mom bought them online and had them shipped to us. What fun! Chloe has a big green flower, a penguin, a lamb, a ladybug, the letter C, and a turtle. (Check out the jibbitz website; you'll be amazed at all the fun embellishments.)
These shoes are so convenient for the summer time! As Chloe's not even 2 yet, she can't put most shoes on by herself. But these genero-crocs she can do totally alone!
I'm curious, how many of you have crocs or generic-crocs for your kids? Do you have jibbitz on them or are they plain?

I got Caleb a pair for $4 at K-mart b/c I got another pair full price and this one was 1/2 off, I haven't found a pair Titus' size. Caleb's are blue and don't have the back strap, no embelishments. I have tried some on but don't really want to pay $30 for them plus my 2nd toe is pretty long and sticks out the top on the ones I've tried on.
I have to say - I love my Crocs. They are ugly as all-get-out but they are so comfy. I'll wear them in the garden and get them filthy but after a quick clean-up, they look good as new.
I have purchased 2 pairs of Crocs for little Michael, one from Zappos and one from ebay. They only drawback from his angle would be that dirt gets in them more easily than a sneaker. Now, I'll put socks on him before we go and dig in the dirt in his shoe. He'll say "shoe boddering/bugging you" if he feels the dirt. He can't stand having debris in his shoe.
I haven't heard of the embellishments before. What a great idea to liven up an outfit. Chloe looks stylin' for sure with her flowers:).
I would say that they are a good investment as Michael wears them just about everywhere. They even look adorable with his church clothes so I don't feel guilty about buying them for him.
My hubby refuses to get a pair b/c he says that they are a girl's shoe. He is so funny - he has his own style and he's sticking with it:).
We all have a pair of crocs from last year so no embelishments as of yet...I am sure if Victoria knew that she could have cute little things on her crocs she would get them. She hasn't realized that yet. :)
Chloe looks so cute in her outfit. She is just so precious.
Luke has generic crocks, but no accessories. I love these shoes too, and they're the only ones he wears. I love it that he can put them on himself, but they're often on the wrong feet. :)
My niece has a pair of pink ones just like Chloe! I got her some jibbitz for her birthday this year (a flower, butterfly, princess crown, & something else...). Anyway, she loves 'em. I think they are adorable on kids & I've seen a Catholic priest wearing a pair of electric green ones with his brown robe. Quite the sight!
I've been looking to get Esther a pair for our beach trips, but haven't found any generics in her size yet. I did even just look at sav-a-lot last week. Chloe's are so cute! I have my own pair of generics which I love for beach days, yard work, or whatever.
i have wanted a pair for Jackson but cannot justify paying $25 for a pair of shoes that he won't be wearing for several years to come! :) Every generic brand has not had Jackson's size....so alas, alack, we are probably the only peeps in the is of a w/o them! :) Ah well!
Anyway, Jackson LOVED the fireworks! I'll post a few pics in the next few days.
I love Chloe's shoes too! Embelishments are such a great idea! Aaron has a pair of fake crocs we found at the Exchange (military wal-mart). They are actually made from Sketchers. I would love to get him some actual crocs, but again they are crazy for charging that much for shoes with holes in them! I've been intrigued by them for myself for
quite some time, but definitely not a necessity right now. I've noticed though, that they make Aaron's feet REALLY stink! But, sandals do the same thing too, which is so weird to me. Anyway, adorable shoes Chloe!
My SIL got Julia some baby crocs (generics) at Walmart for her birthday. Unfortunately they were a couple sizes too big, so I returned them with the plan of getting a smaller size instead. Well, there were NONE left and they still have not gotten any more in! And she could really use them, now that she is walking!! I keep checking every Walmart I go in and I can never find them.
I haven't tried them myself, but they definitely look comfy!
