Achoo! Poor Chloe has been suffering from a horrible cold these last few days. She's been on cold medicine for two days and if things don't look better today, we'll be visiting the doctor. In the last week our weather has turned from summery sunshiney 80 degrees to a cold wet rainy murky muck. I'm sure the drastic change in temperature has caused this icky bug. Any of you midwesterners experiencing the same thing?
I've come down with the cough and sore throat too. Boo-hoo! I'm certainly not going to take any medicine due to the pregnancy and I'm so very thankful to have my mom-in-law here to give me her "home remedies". Right now my throat is enjoying some hot lemon water. Ahhhhhhhh.
Needless to say, we've not been getting out of the house much with all our spreadable cold germs. My mom-in-law ventured out to a yard sale with Chloe yesterday (at which we accidentally shoplifted two little stuffed animals that Chloe had put into the diaper bag!) and that was nearly disastrous. Chloe started crying for no apparent reason and I had to carry her massive 32 lbs. for most of the sale shopping. It was worth it though; we got some great deals.
Stay well and take your vitamin C all of you!

Sorry to hear about your sniffles! There's nothing more miserable...I've been healthy lately (thank goodness!) but strep throat has been going around. Seems strange to me this time of year. I hope you get some sunshine soon!
Hi Chloe! This is Kayla. I hope you and your mommy get well soon! Have you experienced this problem? Not being able to breathe out of your nose so you have to breathe out of your mouth but needing to figure out a way to keep your pacifier in your mouth at night too? I had this problem last time I had a cold, and I figured out a way to breathe out the side of my mouth with my pacifier in it! I couldn't imagine not having my paci to sleep at night especially when I wasn't feeling well!
It's cold (high fifties or sixties depending on the time of day) here at camp, but I talked mommy into letting me go swimming with the campers yesterday. The water was 69 degrees, but it was warmer than the air! I realized Mommy was right about it being cold and I didn't stay in long.
Bye, Chloe!
Your friend you've never met but I like your blog,
Kayla
That's too bad that you two aren't feeling well. Keep it up on that Vitamin C and try to get lots of rest. Praise the Lord for your Mother-in-law there to help out! Hope you feel better soon!
We're feeling fine around here, at least most of us anyway. Ron's been fighting something for nearly a week now. Hopefully Aaron and I won't catch it!
Hope you're better soon!
