I happily got out Chloe's winter snowpants and decked her out for the cold. She's such a big girl; this year she's graduated to the overall type of snowpants! She LOVED them. The feel, the noise, everything. Check out her happy smiles below! Who needs snow when you've got rockin' snowpants?!?
Outside we made a teensy-weensy snowman, romped through the backyard making footprints, and formed some snowballs. Chloe doesn't get the whole throw-the-snowball idea yet. She just wanted to hold hers and carry it around. :)
After only 20 minutes I got cold and forced Chloe inside. She kept saying, "I not cold. I not cold, mommy!" Oh well, there will be other snowy play days where her and daddy can brave the weather for longer periods of time.
What are your favorite snow-playing activities?

She is so BIG, Alicia! I love her big, cheeky smile. Glad she enjoys the out-of-doors.
That is about what we got here in IL. Just a tad bit of snow and then sleet to ice it all over!! The kids had fun sledding today after school. :) I think this is the first year that they have really gotten into it.
Chloe is growing up so fast and I can't believe how big she is getting!!!
how cute! i love sledding followed by hot chocolate :) I'm hoping we will see snow when we visit family over Christmas!
I guess that some of our favorites in last year with Michael, were sledding, building snowmen, big forts and climbing the snowbanks. Now, we rake leaves in December.:) I'm sure that we'll get to play in the snow again someday. We'd like to teach Michael how to ski but decent skiing is a couple of hours away. There are few little "hills" around here which are perfect for teaching little ones. We'll see. No skiing for me this year - it doesn't rank highly as a safe activity for a preggo:).
Kudos to you for getting outside and playing in the snow. How funny that Chloe wanted to stay out:). She knows where the fun is!
I am praying for you in this last month. I hope that the Christmas festivities will help things to go by more quickly for you. Take care of yourself:).
I showed Kayla these pictures, and she said, "I go in the snow with her, okay?"
