Yesterday the temperature reached 91 degrees here in northeast Ohio! The humidity was high also so it was a perfect day to cool off in the fountains downtown. We met Chloe's library friend Kylea (she's the one pushing the wagon in the photo at left) and the girls had a ball getting wet and playing "together". They're both so funny together. They each get very excited about seeing each other - Chloe said Kylea's name repeatedly yesterday morning in anticipation - but when they're actually together they kind of ignore one another! Classic parallel play as talked about in child development books.

Chloe was content to let the girls push and pull her in the wagon. She looks like a queen in her carriage!

Chloe looks goofy in this photo because she's in the middle of talking. Last night we had to stay inside because of some thunderous thunderstorms so we played school with all her animal friends. She got quite a kick out of it!

Queen Chloe - now that has a nice ring to it! We have fountains like that in Knoxville but there was a contamination scare or something and the city was going to fix it. Maybe one of these days we can take Michael to splash around downtown.
Chloe does look cute in that last photo. Did she line her dolls up all by herself? Maybe she will be a teacher someday:). Very cute photos.

Glad Chloe could cool down on a hot day. I have never seen fountains like that. My mom (in Kansas) said they are getting warmer weather now too so she filled up a plastic baby pool for Kayla in their driveway. Kayla's favorite part for some reason was climbing in and out. Mom said she did it over and over and over and over.
I loved the picture of Chloe and the dolls playing school.
that is so cute. chloe having school with all her dolls and animals. i used to do that when i was a kid, but i taught mostly monkeys.
