Chloe continues to amaze me with her ever developing skills and comprehension. Tonight Matt read her a story before bedtime and then Chloe slid off his lap, almost successfully attempted to put the book in place on her bookshelf, turned her doorknob and opened the door, walked into the room where Matt's folks are staying and finding no one she then peered into all the other upstairs rooms. Then she went to the gate, which Matt only recently built, and fiddled with the lock!
As Matt's dad would say, "Clever girl!" What have your kids done that surprised you?

When Luke put a DVD in the player and successfully turned it on, I was pretty surprised - he was pretty young and I was schocked! He also remembers everything and likes to do everything the same. Like eating yogurt on the porch - for a few days, we had violent outbursts if it could not be eaten THERE. Another funny thing he does that surprised me at first: at meals, if he ever gets seconds or a new food on his plate after we've been eating for a few minutes, he folds his hands and starts to throw a mild fuss until we pray. again. :) pretty funny.
KT: Cute stories! Luke sounds like an adorable character. Do you have to eat yogurt on the porch in the winter time too?
