Overalls fetish

When I want my kids to look extra cute, I often dress them in denim overalls. Why? Something about overalls is so genuinely kid-looking and wholesome. Besides that they're sturdy for playing in, they're hard to get dirty, they match any shirt, and they're downright adorable in my opinion.

Enjoy the pictures below of the cutest kids in the world (do you like Chloe's homemade crown?).

I'm also a sucker for little girls in dresses (nothing ruffle-y or lacy though) and I'm also really digging collared button down shirts for boys.

What favorite apparel do you don on your offspring?

You do have some adorable offspring!! I guess I'm weird in that I avoid overalls - something about the straps getting all bunchy. (I'm a little OC!) I bet they will be cute this summer, though. I've got a few pairs of shortalls stashed for Aaron.

I love little plaid camp shirts on Aaron. In the winter, I put a long sleeved shirt underneath. He's also got one hilarious pair of red white and blue plaid pants that just plain make me giggle.

I like overalls when they get bigger. Si has some adorable blue cord overalls, but the top is always covering his mouth. :) I would love little dresses if I had a girl to put them on! :) I like little polo shirts and long shorts for boys, though now Luke is old enough to have his preferences, and he prefers comfy play clothes - sweats, "exercise shorts" and muscle shirts. :)

I like overalls too - not on me though!! :) Michael has had a few pairs in his lifetime and he looked so cute in them.

I love dressing Michael in his Sunday best. The things that Ralph Lauren and Gymboree make for little guys are so adorable.

I'm also a bit of a sucker for Crocs on little people feet - so cute!

Your comment about your kids being the cutest in the world reminded me of a quote, "There is only one most beautiful child in the world and every mother has him/her". How true! :)

Well, I don't have a little girl, but if I ever do, I plan on dressing her in old fashion dresses all of the time. Although, I am sure i will have to make them myself seeing that most little girl clothes look exactly like mine these days.
As for my boy - I tend to be a lot more trendy. I love dressing him up in little man clothes, like collard shirts and sweaters and such. I am a sucker for khaki sport jackets, too!
