Well, our family was in speechless shock and disappointment as the Giants winning 47 yard field goal sailed through the yellow uprights. Who would have thought the Giants' kicker would succeed after missing 2 field goals that were 10 yards shorter earlier in the game?!?Even though the game was disastrous we certainly enjoyed our family Packer party. My mom was here to partake of the fun and festivities. Good thing she remembered to don her Favre jersey!
Chloe was pumped about her new yellow pom-pons (gotta love the Target dollar spot) and the special yellow and green jello I made for the occasion. Let's hope Favre sticks around for another banner year so we can see the Pack battle for the superbowl trophy. Wouldn't it have been great to see the Pack knock off the arrogant pretty-boy Patriots?!?

No one compares with the Packers! Way to get all decked out Al! Yeah we were devastated. We went to Mulders and watched the game - we were all in shock at the end. Favre will be back. He can't leave knowing he still has it.
i believe he will be back - just like tony dungy will be back to coach the colts ;) yahoo!

yes, we were distraught by the loss. connor didn't really care b/c he got to wear his favre jersey. good idea on the jello. i'm pretty sure we'll be sporting our packer gear for the superbowl in memory of what should have been. :~)

I don't think this will be Favre's last season because he did well this season, but he ended with an interception. He doesn't want to go out thinking of that interception. I would love to see him play again and have another great season.
