We thoroughly enjoyed our time together. We took them to our favorite little town, Hudson, for some sunshine-y window shopping, library browsing (Hudson has seriously the best library I've ever seen), and cupcake eating (yes, there's a whole shop JUST selling cupcakes!). They even got to experience 50 cent day with us at our local thrift store! I get way too excited about 50 cent day. 50 cent day did not disappoint me this time; I found a toy sewing machine for Chloe for, guess how much . . . FIFTY CENTS!!!! Woo-hoo!

Love the gardening picture (I spent most of today out planting my garden). Thanks for your faithfulness in leaving comments -- It's always nice to know that at least someone reads my blog. Seriously though, We went up to NBBC b/c JA's brother Phil was graduating. Hannibal, MO (I love Samuel Clemmons) just became our fist major stop on our way up.
That is so neat to see pictures with grandparents. I love the fact that my boys are just thrilled to spend time with both sets of grandparents. I love times with family!
You have some sweet pictures of Chloe and her grandparents. I think that the one with her at the sewing machine is very cute. She is a very industrious little girl:).
It sounds like you had a great time. I checked out the website cupcake place - what's your favorite? :-) I was also thinking that it's great you're in Ohio; you can't be too far away from me here in Indiana. Then I checked out the map. Yikes, you guys are almost all the way to PA! :-(

Oh my, that cupcake place!!! Amazing! Sounds like a fun business to be in. What a variety of flavors. Wouldn't it be fun to try and make all of thos at home? But I'm sure it is *much* more fun to go out for cupcakes!

Tricia: I KNOW, I hate living here and being away from so much family. Chloe just soaks up extended family time and now she says her cousins' names all the time.
Rachel: Chloe is SUCH a copycat - I'm sure you've found that with your Michael too. She loved just sitting next to buelita and pretending to work with her!
Mary Ann: Yup, we're in northeastern Ohio, practically on the border. You're welcome to visit anytime though! So far I've only tried 3 different flavors of cupcake from the cupcake shop. I tried to go yesterday but they were closed. :( Bummer. I've tried red velvet, chocolate chip cookie dough, and lemon drop. I'm really wanting to try their vanilla chai and white chocolate cheesecake next!
Mrs. T: I agree, it would be awesome to bake cupcakes for a living. I bet you'd have a ball coming up with new flavors to bake up! This shop only works though because it's in a really wealthy novelty type of area. I love the specialness of the cupcake treat while we're out and about though it makes me cringe to pay $2 for one cupcake.
