More Clive-isms

I should follow my Clive around with a tape-recorder these days. He's always spouting off funny quote-ables stemming from his impulsive personality and limited two-year old vocabulary.

Clive is my darling. I love him to pieces! I can't control myself sometimes and often find myself scooping him up and smothering him with smoocheroos (usually against his will).

Here are a few of his recent quote-ables to make you grin!

Setting: Sitting at the dinner table. Clive hadn't eaten much of his dinner and the rest of us were already finished.

Me: "Clive, sweetie, why haven't you eaten your dinner?"
Clive: (folding his arms on the table and setting his chin down sadly) "I sorry mommy. It's too tasty for me."
[Not sure if I should take that as a compliment or an insult?]

Setting: I was staying home with a runny-nosed Solomon from church last Sunday and was finishing up dressing Chloe & Clive.
Me: "Clive, you have a fun time in Sunday school and be a good boy, ok?"
Clive: "Ok, mommy. And don't worry, I won't let ANY girls or boys kiss me!"
[Hmm, is this a common 2 year old problem? Or maybe it's just extra hard for Clive to fend off kissers since he's so stinkin' cute!]
