The quietness of a Sunday afternoon is waning. The clock reminds me that naptime is ending and soon clamoring hungry children will be underfoot.Thankfully, our little family has continued my in-laws' Sunday night meal tradition of eggs and potatoes. Delicious and easy to prepare.
We don't regularly attend our church's Sunday evening service so there's no rush. Still it's stress-relieving to realize I've got a simple supper prep ahead. Ah.
Do you and your family practice any regular Sunday night traditions?

Our church doesn't have a Sunday night service, so we take our afternoon naps, go grocery shopping, and then a light dinner. A lot of times, we'll just eat leftovers, but lately we've been grilling something easy (hot dogs, cheddarwurst). If nothing else happens, NAPS are the crucial step in our Sunday afternoon routine :-)
If we go to Mike's parents for Sunday dinner, we usually skip supper. There is always a feast at their house & unless we have been unusually active, we just aren't hungry. If we get together with my sister & her family after Sunday night service we have lots of easy stuff like broiled zucchini with mozzarella, tacos, or frozen pizza. It's all about ease & speed!
I'm thinking we need to institute a Sunday night tradition meal - if nothing else so that I always know what we're having! Eggs and potatoes, eh? Scrambled? or however everybody wants them? How do you make your potatoes? That sounds yummy!
